This photo above was the remarkable view of the full moon setting over the Z. Smith Reynolds library about a week ago. Mother So Dear wears it well.

During this time, most students will register for up to 12 hours; those pre-registered for a Living-Learning Community may register for up to 15 hours, and those pre-registered for Honors Chemistry (CHM 123) may register for up to 16 hours. If your student will not have internet access for Round I of registration, s/he should contact the Office of Academic Advising as soon as possible at 336.758.3320 to speak with an Academic Counselor about an alternate registration plan.
  • Course Preference Surveys will be sent to new students on July 21st and will be due on July 28. These surveys will be used by our professional advisers to complete the remainder of students' schedules.
  • Please visit the New Students Website, the WFU Orientation app, and Forestry 101 regarding deadlines and instructions that will prepare your student for his/her transition to Wake Forest. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for more updates!

Campus Life and Events

Family Weekend registration is now available. Please visit the Family Weekend website for more information and to register.

Volunteer at the Wake Forest Campus Gardenflourishing vegetables can only mean one thing: it's peak growing season for Wake Forest's most savory green space — the Campus Garden. If your Deacon enjoys gardening and is looking for a hands-on service experience, encourage him/her to volunteer at the Campus Garden. The garden is located at the corner of Polo Road and Student Drive and can always use an extra set of hands. All are welcome, and no gardening experience is required.

If you will be in Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, or Watch Hill in late July, please register online and plan to join us for Wake Forest receptions featuring remarks by Provost Rogan Kersh ('86).

Resources and Deadlines

The Student Health Service is excited about our move back to the Reynolds Gym. The move should be completed by the first week of August! The clinic will be closed for clinic visits on July 29 and 31, but will be available by phone. We will re-open on August 1 through the 11th for the remainder of the second summer school session. We will open for the fall semester on August 23.

Vehicle registration information is available for the 2017-18 year.

Student Financial Services: Fall tuition and fees are due by August 1. Students must grant access for parents and other third parties to view their student account online via DEAC
. Please visit the SFS website for detailed instructions. Please consider tuition insurance provided by Dewar, Inc. More information can be found on the SFS tuition insurance site.

The 2017-2018 Student Health Insurance open enrollment period will be June 1 – Aug. 1. All students, new and returning, are required to make an election regarding coverage (enroll or waive), as health insurance is required for full-time enrollment at the University. During this time, elections can be made online at www.bcbsnc.com/wfu. In order to waive, you must provide proof of coverage that meets the University criteria. Please visit www.wfu.edu/sip for more information, or email to sip@wfu.edu.
