allgood

allgood is our allergen friendly station located in the main residential dining facility, The Table at Reynolda (The Pit). Daily, this station serves nutritionally balanced, fresh, delicious, and chef driven food that does not contain the top 8 allergens. The station features guest favorites as well as unique made-to-order options. allgood is rooted in our Harvest Table Culinary Commitments. Associates who work at the station undergo allergen safety training. There are also stringent policies and procedures in place to keep you safe. The food that is prepared for allgood is made in a separate area in the kitchen with all separate utensils and cooking equipment. Additionally, the dishes are prepared using only canola oil. Our menus are transparent and can be found on the website as well as on digital signage within the location so all guests can feel confident about what they are eating.

Swipe Out Hunger

Through student initiative, we have partnered with the Chaplain’s Office to administer donated meals. For the first two weeks of school, the Wake Forest Community was able to donate up to two meal swipes which will be given to those in need at Wake Forest.

Stress Less Pantry

With the increasing number of students in need of a safe space to prepare foods, The Stress Less Pantry was created. Located in The Table at Reynolda (The Pit), it is a designated area for students with food allergies to have access to and prepare separate food. It is meant to be supplementary to menu items that are served in the location. It has pantry space and a separate toaster, fridge, microwave, and small wares to help decrease cross contact to promote a feeling of safety for guests with allergies. Students must apply to gain access to the pantry through the dining website.

Vegetarian Frittata

Our guests have raised awareness about meat contamination on the omelet station, due to allergens or religious reasons. This is why The Table at Reynolda (The Pit) is bringing you a brand-new breakfast option! We have opened a vegetarian frittata station that ensures no meat products will be in contact with any other ingredients or the pans they are cooked in. What exactly is frittata you ask? It is much like an omelet, but the dish is cooked with the ingredients and eggs mixed together and then folded over. We are so excited to be able to provide this option to our guests.

Halal Meats

Our partnership with the Wake Forest Global Foods Committee helps bring our campus community together by highlighting and sharing diverse cultural and religious holidays, celebrations, and heritages through food. The Global Foods Committee helped raise awareness about how there are students on campus who need access to halal meats for religious purposes. To meet the needs of our guests, we are now able to offer only halal meats at the allgood station in The Table at Reynolda (The Pit). Guests will find delicious dishes with halal beef, turkey, and chicken.

Sustainability in Dining

Through partnership and commitment with The Office of Sustainability, our program donates 160 pounds of food to Campus Kitchen every week and 30% of our purchasing is third-party certified with a focus on local. This year we are excited to announce that in collaboration with the Wake Forest Sustainability Team, we will be working with two student interns. They will focus on carbon reduction in dining and student engagement to help tell the story of sustainable dining on campus.
