Register a Team for DESK!
DESK is an annual spring-time event at Wake Forest University. Started by two students who identified a lack of work space in the homes of the children they tutored, they partnered with Old Town Elementary School to provide an exciting and colorful study space for students, with the goal of encouraging positive reading habits.

This annual partnership connects elementary school students with teams of Wake Forest students to design and paint a new desk, with roughly 55 desks painted each year. This year's event will take place on Wednesday April 20th from 3pm-6:30 p.m. The rain date is on Thursday April 21st!

Register your team below (registration is free!) to come to Poteat Field on April 20th from 3pm-6:30pm. You'll be paired with an elementary school student and their family to help them paint their desk however they want! You'll receive a drawing from them in advance or on the day of highlighting some of their favorite things and what they want their desk to look like.

Everyone is welcome to create a team! Join with your student organization, a group of friends, etc. - team registration closes on April 16, 2022 at noon!
