WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – An exciting season awaits at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum as the Wake Forest women's basketball team begins their first season under the direction of head coach Megan Gebbia! There is no better time than now to become a season ticket holder and support your Demon Deacons at home this season.

Along with your purchase of a $50 season ticket package this season there are many added benefits exclusive only to those who buy season tickets. Admission to all 16 home games for this price Additional perks include:

  • A lunch opportunity with the Wake Forest women's basketball team

  • Only season ticket holders can sit in floor level seats

  • Access to The Blue Ridge Room for free light refreshments and snacks before and during each home game

  • "Season Ticket Holder of the Game"

    • A season ticket holder will be recognized at each game

      • They will be brought onto the floor during a quarter break or timeout to be recognized

      • They will be presented with a signed picture of the team

Demon Deacons to Host Open Practice

Ahead of the exhibition on Sunday, Oct. 30, the Wake Forest women's basketball team will host an open practice inside of the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. - Noon ET. 

Get your first glance at the team led by first-year head coach Megan Gebbia. Admission is free and fans will be able to hear from Coach Gebbia and get a chance to meet the 2022-23 squad.

Autographs on Saturday at Football Fan Zone

Ahead of the Wake Forest - Boston College football game at Truist Field Saturday at 3:30 p.m., the women's basketball team will be signing autographs with fans in the Farm Bureau DEACTOWN Fan Zone located in front of the Deacon Statue.

The half hour opportunity with the team runs from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

Later in the game during the first quarter, the Demon Deacons will be honored on the field as a team in front of Deacon Nation.

Open the Gate

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons will be led out onto the field this Saturday, Oct. 22, by head women's basketball coach Megan Gebbia, which is set for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff at Truist Field.

The Open the Gate tradition has been an important and unique aspect of football games since its inception in 2008. This allows Wake Forest to honor individuals that make its University and Winston-Salem community so special. Honorees ride on the back of the motorcycle with the Demon Deacon mascot and lead the football team onto Truist Field. The first ever honoree was Wake Forest and Winston-Salem legend, Chris Paul.
